From a video link to a predicted brain response

You give neuro-viral a video. A brain-encoding model predicts how the average viewer's cortex would respond to each second of it, and the report shows you which seconds rise and which fall.

  1. Paste a link or upload a file

A YouTube link, or an MP4, MOV, WebM or AVI file up to 500 MB.

  2. The model reads the whole video

Picture, sound and speech are read together. You can leave the page: we email you when the scan is ready.

  3. Open the report

A second-by-second chart, a 3D brain map of 360 labelled regions, and the AI editor's suggested changes.

Picture, sound and speech in. A predicted brain response out.

v2neuro is a brain-encoding model trained on fMRI recordings of people watching and listening. It reads your video on one timeline and predicts how the average viewer's cortex would respond, second by second.

  1. Three streams, one timeline

The frames, the soundtrack and the spoken words are read together, so a cut, a beat drop and a line of script are judged in context.

  2. A response for the whole cortex

For every second, the model predicts activity at 20,484 points across the cortical surface: what a group of viewers' brains would do on average.

  3. A chart you can edit against

The prediction is summarised as a second-by-second chart and a 3D map of 360 labelled regions, so you can see which seconds rise and which fall.

What it is

A group-average prediction of how brains respond to your cut, from a model trained on real fMRI data.

What it is not

A measurement of your viewers, or a forecast of views, clicks, watch time or sales.
