AI video analysis
AI video analysis, second by second
Most AI video analyzers return a score or a summary. neuro-viral returns a timeline: for every second of your video, a predicted brain response from v2neuro, a brain-encoding model trained on fMRI recordings of people watching video. You see where it peaks, where it falls fastest and which brain system leads at each moment.
What you get from one analysis
- A second-by-second curve of the predicted brain response across the whole video, up to 10 minutes.
- The peak and the steepest fall, with timestamps.
- The leading brain system for each second: visual, auditory, motion, language and others.
- A 3D brain map of 360 labelled regions that plays along with the video.
- A trust score for each second, so you know where the prediction is firmer and where it is weaker.
Analyze a YouTube video or your own file
Paste a YouTube link or upload a video file. A 30-second ad takes several minutes to analyze; longer videos take longer. The result opens as a dashboard you can share with your team.
Compare two cuts of the same video
Analyze two versions and the curves are laid over each other, so you see the exact seconds where one cut holds up and the other dips. This is what agency creative teams use it for most.
Then fix it in the same place
Once the weak seconds are marked, the AI video editor can cut, shorten, rewrite or recolour them from a chat and render the new cut for you to analyze again.
See finished analyses
- Famous ads, second by second: Nike, Volvo, Old Spice, Apple 1984 and more.
- Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video and HBO Max trailers, scanned as they come out.
What the analysis cannot tell you
The curve is a model's prediction of the average brain response, not a measurement of your audience and not a forecast of views, watch time or sales. We tested it against real viewing data and found no link to audience outcomes, and we publish that result. Use it to choose what is worth testing, then let a live test decide. Questions
What is AI video analysis in neuro-viral?
A brain-encoding model, v2neuro, predicts the average brain response to each second of your video. You get a timeline of that response with its peak, its steepest fall and the leading brain system for each second.
Can it analyze a YouTube video?
Yes. Paste the YouTube link, or upload a file instead.
How long can the video be?
Up to 10 minutes on paid plans, and up to 60 seconds on the free plan.
Will it tell me how many views a video will get?
No. It models a brain response, not audience behaviour. Our own test found no link between the curve and audience outcomes.
Is it free?
The first scan each month is free, with no card. Paid plans start at $29 a month.
