AI video editor

An AI video editor you edit by typing

neuro-viral's AI video editor works from a chat. You type what you want, the way you would say it to an editor ("cut 0:10 to 0:15", "shorten it to 30 seconds", "rewrite the first line") and it lines up the steps, renders the new cut and lets you compare it with the original. Text-based video editing, with no timeline to learn.

What makes it different. Before you edit, neuro-viral scans the video and shows the predicted brain response second by second. The editor can work from that: ask where the video is weakest and it points to the exact seconds, then proposes the change.

What the AI video editor can do

  • Cut and restructure. Cut or trim any part, shorten the whole video to a set length, speed up a slow stretch, or move a part to another place.
  • Change what is said. Rewrite spoken lines, or add new ones in your cloned voice when you switch it on. Ask for the transcript and it reads it back.
  • Colour and look. Colour grade the video, apply looks such as vintage or black and white, zoom, fade, slow motion, freeze a frame, flip, rotate, reverse a stretch and stabilise shaky footage.
  • Sound. Add music from a file you attach, cut the video to the beat of the music, set the volume and clean up background noise.
  • Captions and text. Add captions and words on screen when you ask for them.
  • New formats. Pull a vertical short out of a longer video, merge or overlay several clips you attach, or turn a set of screenshots into a short film.
  • Review. Ask what the video says, where it is strongest and weakest, or what to fix, and get concrete steps back.

How editing works

  1. Add a video. Paste a YouTube link or upload a file. neuro-viral scans it and charts the predicted brain response for every second.
  2. Type the change. Plain words work. You can ask for several changes in one message.
  3. Check the steps. Every change appears as a step first. Nothing is rendered until you apply it, and you can skip any step.
  4. Apply, compare, undo. The editor renders the new cut. Scan it again to compare the two curves, or undo the last edit.

Who it is for

  • Creators who want a shorter, tighter version of a video, or a vertical short from a long one, without opening a timeline editor.
  • Agency and paid-social teams who make several cuts of one ad and want to see where they differ, second by second. See for agencies.
  • Trailer and promo editors who want to know which seconds land hardest before they lock a cut. See our Netflix and Disney+ trailer scans.

Free and paid plans

The free plan gives you one scan a month, up to 60 seconds, and one recut, with no card. Creator is $29 a month and Agency $299 a month, for longer videos up to 10 minutes and more scan time. See pricing.

What it will not do

The editor changes the video you give it. The brain-response curve is a model's prediction of the average response to each second, not a forecast of views or sales, so treat a new cut as something to test with a live audience. See method and limits and how the AI video analysis works.

Questions

Is there a free AI video editor plan?

Yes. The free plan includes one scan a month of up to 60 seconds and one recut, with no card. Paid plans start at $29 a month.

Can I edit a video with text instead of a timeline?

Yes. You type what you want changed, for example "cut 0:10 to 0:15" or "shorten it to 30 seconds", and the editor turns it into steps you can check before it renders.

Can it make a vertical short from a long video?

Yes. Ask for a vertical short and it pulls one out of the longer video.

Does it add captions automatically?

Only when you ask. Captions and on-screen text are added on request, never by default.

Can I undo an edit?

Yes. Every change is shown as a step before it renders, and an applied edit can be undone.
